The games from ConectaGames have two scoring systems: The Weekly ranking, which is calculated every week, and the ELO ranking, which is the historical ranking of the player, and takes into account all the games the player has ever played.
Weekly Ranking
The 3 players who obtain the highest score of the week are the winners. They will be shown every week on the game's website.
The winner of the week receives as the prize the amount of credits he or she has purchased during the past week.
The players will earn 10 points each time they win a game, but only games with different players will count. For example: If during the week, he/she wins 3 games against the same player, he/she will add only 10 points. Losing games does not subtract points.
The player can see in the lobby his/her current score, the time remaining until the week is over, and the 3 players who are in the lead.
On Mondays at 02:00 AM GMT-3 the competition for the weekly ranking starts again.
ELO Ranking
Each player who enters the game for the first time, begins with an ELO ranking of 1500 points.
The ranking varies according to the games won and lost, and according to the current ELO ranking of the opponent.
If the user wins against a player with a higher ELO ranking, he/she will add more points than if he/she defeats a player who has a lower ELO ranking.
Conversely, if the user is defeated by a player who has a lower ELO ranking, he/she will lose more points than if he/she is defeated by a player with a higher ELO ranking.
A player who abandons the table loses the game, and is penalized by paying the sum of the bets of all players.
The ELO ranking is shown at the bottom of the game, and you can check the ELO ranking of your friends or the ELO ranking of the best players.
